Anti-Catholicism, c.1680, a cast gilt-copper medal, unsigned, heads of Pope and devil joined as one, svlti aliqvando sapientes, rev. ecclesia perversa, etc., heads of Pope and devil joined as one in different format, 36mm (cf. MI 578/250 for rev.). Somewhat buckled and crude, but very fine or better and the gilding original; with loop for suspension (£100-150)
