With copied notes stating that Private William Thomas Jones, 2nd Battalion Royal Sussex Regiment was born on 22 March 1894. Wounded near the Aisne, 15 September 1914 and discharged from the Army on 6 December 1914. Became a Civil Servant; awarded the I.S.M., 26 May 1959. Died on 16 January 1969. With Board of Trade slip and coupons.
