Private James Loughton, 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 23 August 1914. Listed as wounded in The Times 2 August 1915. Discharged due to wounds on 26 May 1916 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With two silver rosettes and copied roll and newspaper extracts and m.i.c. - clasp confirmed.
