Private Hector John Lockhart, 1st Battalion Royal Highlanders, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 13 August 1914. Served in the Guards Brigade, 1st Division, in Haig’s I Army Corps. Discharged due to wounds on 16 April 1917 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied roll extract (listed as ‘Lockheart’) and m.i.c. - clasp confirmed.
