George Davison McBrearty enlisted into the Gloucestershire Regiment on 22 October 1902, having previously served in the Militia. Serving in the 1st Battalion, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 13 August 1914. McBrearty was discharged on 2 March 1915 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied research - clasp confirmed.
