Thomas S. Nunn, born 17 March 1819. First listed as Assistant Engineer 3rd Class on H.M.S. Victory 13 August 1855. Promoted to Assistant Engineer 2nd Class in May 1859 when on H.M.S. Magicienne. Serving on H.M.S. Miranda, February 1861-June 1865, he was advanced to Assistant Engineer 1st Class in April 1861. Served in the New Zealand War, 1863-64 - one of 92 medals with those dates awarded to the ship. He then served as Engineer on H.M.S. Cumberland, June 1865-June 1867 and H.M.S. Fisguard, October-December 1867. Nunn attained the rank of Chief Engineer in May 1868. His last appointment was on H.M.S. Fox, May 1872-April 1874. With copied service sheet.
