Private Edmund Wallace Allen, 3rd Battalion Canadian Infantry, was killed in action, France, on 8 August 1918, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Wood Cemetery, Marcelcave, Somme, France. He was the son of Mr G. and Mrs E. Allen, of Crew Green, Shropshire.

Private Arthur James Allen, 116th Battalion Canadian Infantry, was killed in action, France, on 31 August 1917, aged 25 years. He was buried in the Aix-Noulette Communal Cemetery Extension. He was the son of George and Ellen Allen, of Underdale Hill, Shrewsbury.
