Roy John Farmer was born in Exeter, Canada on 8 September 1887. Graduated in Medicine at the University of Western Ontario, London, in 1916. He entered the Army early in 1915 and was posted to the 34th Battalion Canadian Infantry. In March 1916 he was discharged to a commission in the R.N.V.R. In 1919 he was appointed a Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. After the war he practised in Toronto. Dr Farmer died at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto on 25 August 1937.
