John Hamilton Bisson originally served as a Private in the Denbigh Yeomanry. When serving with the 1st Battalion K.S.L.I. he was killed in action on 12 October 1916 at Transloy Ridges, S.E. of Guedecourt, near Bapaume, during the battle of the Somme. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. With cap badge and copied m.i.c.
