James Prunty Taylor was born in South River, Ontario on 14 March 1894. A Butcher by occupation, living at 14 Rowanwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario, he attested for the 173rd Battalion Highlanders on 3 February 1916, having previously served 1 year in the 91st Cameron Highlanders. Served on the Western Front in the 3rd Battalion Canadian Infantry.

Robert Webster was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on 22 November 1891. A Labourer by occupation, he attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Winnipeg on 17 June 1915. Served on the Western Front with the 43rd Battalion Canadian Infantry.

Charles Cecil Trevaskis was born in Rock Chappel, Ontario. Giving his date of birth as 26 May 1897, he attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Niagra on 6 September 1915. Serving overseas, he received shrapnel wounds to the right shoulder. Found to be a minor he was discharged. Giving his date of birth as 26 May 1899 he attested once more on 14 November 1918. With riband bar and ‘C.P.F. Service at the Front Badge. All with copied attestation papers.
