With brass plate bearing the Somerset Light Infantry badge and impressed, ‘36231 H. Michael’; also with riband bar and a copied m.i.c.

Private Frederick C. Michael, Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 1 April 1915. Later discharged to Class ‘Z’ Reserve. With registered envelope addressed to him in Cornwall and copied m.i.c.
