William Sinclai McGlashaw was born in Cossipore, Bengal, India, lived in Chorley Wood and enlisted at Hounslow. Serving with the 3rd County of London Yeomanry, he was killed in action in Gallipoli on 21 August 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
