WWII Period French Commando Badges of British Manufacture comprising two officers’ fine quality examples - the first in heavy die stamped unmarked silver, the second in heavy die stamped bronze, both featuring the Free Cross of Lorraine, a sailing galley, Commando knife and title scroll ‘Figure I er Bllon F.M. Commando’ the scroll with anchor finials; a die stamped bronze other ranks Commando (?) cap badge featuring a shield bearing the Free Cross of Lorraine upon a dagger with attendant laurel sprays with slider fastener; together with a fine quality unmarked cast silver pouch badge for the 2nd ?shire Rifle Volunteers featuring a strung bugle horn with a ‘2’ within the strings three pierced integral tang fasteners, very good overall condition (4) £400-600
