The Queen’s Own Royal (Staffordshire) Yeomanry Other Ranks Helmet Plate c. 1850 - 1870 a good quality die stamped brass example featuring an ornate crown over a rococo shield enclosing a beaded star unit title and the Knot Simpliciter attendant laurel and oak sprays, one laurel leaf repaired, original screw post fasteners reduced now fitted with two soldered loop fasteners; together with an officer’s undress pair of shoulder scales c. 1830 - 55 in silver plate and with plated finial regimental buttons, good overall condition (3) £120-160
