U.S.A., Riband Bar in tribute to Medal of Honor winner, Captain Alfred V. Rascon, 1st Battalion 503rd Infantry Airborne Reconnaissance Platoon, mounted on to a small portion of a military jacket is the riband bar, rank bars; combat medical badge, combat parachutist badge, pathfinder badge, and other metal insignia; with a plastic card named to Rascon and signed ‘Good Luck’ and signed, ‘A V Rascon’; and with an invitation card from The Secretary of the Army for a Medal of Honor induction ceremony in honour of Mr Alfred Rascon, at the Pentagon, generally good condition (lot) £40-60

Specialist Four Alfred Rascon was awarded the Medal of Honor for a series of extraordinary courageous acts in Vietnam on 16 March 1966, while assigned as a Medic to the Reconnaissance Platoon, H.Q. Company, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 503rd Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade.

With citation details and copied photographs of the recipient, one of which is signed by Rascon. With a Christmas card 2006, signed ‘Alfred’ containing a photograph of Alfred and his wife Carol, this signed ‘Al: Carol’. With copied research and a 503rd cloth patch.
