Attributed to Raymond Jones. With 14 letters, complete with envelopes (torn/damaged) from Raymond Jones to his sister, Miss Sibyl Jones, of 418 E. 17th Avenue, Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., spanning the period, March 1918-May 1919. Raymond Jones was originally based at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He served in France from c.August 1918 and latterly served in Luxembourg.

Together with a photograph of the recipient, the reverse inscribed, ‘Pvt. Raymond Jones, 26th Balloon Co A.E.F.’. Also with an empty card box of issue for the U.S. Victory Medal 1918 with ‘France’ clasp and a hat bearing metal badges of the Army Air Force and Balloon Pilot Wings.
