Second Lieutenant Albert B. Mitlehner, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, died of wounds on 1 March 1945 - received at Iwo Jima. His home state was Oregon.

With original certificate of award for the Purple Heart, dated 7 June 1945. With a bronze cross, a 4th Marine Division patch, officer’s insignia and riband bars for display purposes.
