Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (3) (John Neaves Turpie Brown; Michael Ferrie; Ernest Anderson Smith) good very fine (3) £120-160

John Neaves Turpie Brown was born and lived in Kinross and enlisted at Perth. Serving as Private in the 10th Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, 30 September 1918, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Joncourt British Cemetery.

Private Michael Ferrie, 1st/5th Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, was killed in action, Gallipoli, 12 July 1915, aged 32 years. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.

Private Ernest Anderson Smith, 14th Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, was killed in action, France/Flanders, 24 April 1917. Buried in the Fifteen Ravine British Cemetery, Villers-Plouich, Nord, France. All with copied research.
