16674 Rifleman Muhammad Ashraf, 2nd Battalion 6th Rajputana Rifles, killed/died, India, 8 January 1940. His name is commemorated on the Delhi and Karachi 1939-45 War Memorials. He was the son of Begum, of Munde, Jhelum, Pakistan.

This soldier is recorded as a fatality on 8 January 1940 along with six other officers and men of the regiment. At the time the 2-6th Rajputana Rifles were part of the Kohat Brigade, taking part in operations in the Ahmedzai Salient and operations against the Faqir of Ipi.
