Henry William George Burgess’ service record is available online - he served in France in the 2nd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment, in January-November 1917. He later transferred to 1st/8th Battalion, Scottish Rifles, and thence to the 17th (Transport Workers) Battalion, with whom he was wounded with a severe gun shot wound to his right foot. Discharged due to his wounds in November 1918, he was awarded the Silver War Badge, and was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

J. Simmons was discharged on 7 April 1917 due to sickness, when he was awarded the Silver War Badge. He was otherwise entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals, as was Walter Lister, who later served in the Middlesex Regiment.

F. Holdsworth’s service record is available online - from Clackheaton, Yorkshire, he enlisted in the 6th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment, in November 1915, and was discharged due to wounds in August 1918, aged 20, when he was awarded the Silver War Badge in addition to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

Melbourne Rowley’s service record is available online - he served in the 2nd/6th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment, in France in January-March 1917, and afterwards transferred to the Military Provost Staff Corps as a C.S.M.

Clarence Silverwood was discharged as a result of wounds in September 1918, aged 22 years, when he was awarded the Silver War Badge in addition to his entitlement to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

Woodmansey was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

J. H. Armstrong first went out to France with the 7th Battalion, West Riding Regiment, in April 1915, and was discharged in March 1916 due to wounds, when he was awarded the Silver War Badge.

Patrick McNamara first went out to France with the 1st Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment, on 8 September 1914.

J. T. Keena, who was born in Bradford, was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

Charles R. Thetford first went out to France on 21 May 1915.
