George W. Brownley was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

Joseph G. Smith later served in the Northumberland Fusiliers and Royal Engineers.

George Henry Vallack first went out to France on 20 April 1915 and was discharged due to sickness in November 1917, when he was awarded the Silver War Badge.

John Wilkinson’s ‘22’ prefix is for the 22nd (3rd Tyneside Scottish) Battalion, with whom he landed in France in 1916.

John James Atkins’ service record and pension papers are available online - he was from Islington and enlisted in the D.L.I. in March 1916, and subsequently served in the 2/9th Battalion. Discharged in October 1919, he was awarded the Silver War Badge.

A. W. Frost and George Ernest Wilkinson, who also served in the R.E., were entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

A. C. Hodgson served in the K.R.R.C. from November 1915 to August 1917, when he was discharged owing to trench feet and awarded the Silver War Badge. He was also entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

William Henry Whittle first went out to France at the end of July 1915 and was discharged due to wounds in January 1918, aged 22. He was entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio and awarded the Silver War Badge.

G. H. Wilkinson first went out to France on 13 August 1914 with the 2nd Battalion, K.R.R.C.
