Sydney Spoor’s service record is available online - he was from Woodbridge, Suffolk, and first went out to France on 17 October 1915, and later served in the Guards Machine Gun Regiment.

Alfred Ingham’s service record is available online - he was born at Fence, near Burnley, Lancashire, in 1899, and enlisted in the Royal Horse Guards in June 1916, but later served in the Guards Machine Gun Regiment.

William J. Carter, who served in the 10th Hussars and afterwards the Labour Corps, was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medal.

Arthur W. Graves, who served in the 1st County of London Yeomanry and was afterwards a member of the Corps of Hussars, was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

George Edward Hebbard’s service record is available online - following service in the 2nd/1st Surrey Yeomanry, he served in the 8th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.

J. Plant’s service record is available online - he enlisted in the Coldstream Guards in May 1916, was wounded in the right arm on 28 July 1917, and later served in the Royal Engineers. Discharged in early November 1918, he was awarded the Silver War Badge.

John Williamson went out to France with the Scots Guards on 17 February 1915.
