Hooker served with Mashall’s Horse for his Q.S.A., 14 November 1899-3 May 1901. Served in Nesbitt’s Horse, 31 March-31 May 1902.

Hosego served with the Imperial Yeomanry Base Depot, 3 May-8 September 1900. Served with the P.T.C., 9 September 1900-21 January 1902. He returned to the Imperial Yeomanry Depot, 22 January-27 February 1902. Awarded the Q.S.A. as a Trooper in the Imperial Yeomanry. 101 K.S.A. medals to the P.T.C.
