Major Douglas Douglas-Crawford was educated at the Liverpool Institute and Edinburgh University. Qualified as M.B.; C.M. 1887 and was a F.R.C.S. Eng. Was a Lecturer of Clinical Surgery and Surgical Anatomy at the University of Liverpool. Serving in the R.A.M.C. (T.F.) he was commissioned a Captain in 1908 and advanced to Major in 1917. Served in the 1st Western General Hospital, 78 Shore Street, Liverpool and in the 14th and 57th General Hospitals.
