Three: Private S. Ogden, 12th Battalion Manchester Regiment, killed in action, France/Flanders, 2 August 1916

Stansfield Ogden was born in Salford, Lancashire, lived in Seeley and enlisted at Manchester. Volunteering in September 1914, he was sent to France in July of the following year, serving with the 12th Battalion Manchester Regiment. He served at Ypres, Festubert, Loos, St. Eloi, Albert and Vimy Ridge. Ogden was killed in action on the Somme on 2 August 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. With copied research.
