Four: Staff Serjeant A. G. Smith, Royal Army Service Corps, late 11th Hussars

Star, with copy clasp (11149 Pte., 11/Hrs.); British War and Victory Medals (11149 A. Cpl., 11-Hrs.); General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Iraq (C-13859 A.S. Sjt., R.A.S.C.) few contact marks, good very fine (4) £200-250

Albert George Smith enlisted into the 11th Hussars on 20 April 1914. With the regiment he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 1 November 1914. Later attached to the 2nd Life Guards as part of the Guards Machine Gun Regiment. Was discharged on 30 January 1919 due to wounds and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). Re-enlisting into the R.A.S.C., he was awarded the G.S.M. with clasp for Iraq. With copied m.i.c. (clasp to 1914 Star confirmed) and roll extracts.
