Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Azoff (George Still, R.M.) engraved naming, contact marks, nearly very fine £200-250

George Still was born in Rochester, Kent. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted into the Royal Marines at Chatham on 21 November 1848, aged 18 years, 10 months. Served on H.M.S. Waterloo, December 1851-February 1854 and H.M.S. Miranda, March 1854-April 1857. On the latter vessel he qualified for the Crimea Medal with clasp ‘Azoff’. Private Still served until January 1860. At his discharge he was in possession of two good conduct badges and in November 1860 was paid a gratuity of £5. With copied service papers and roll extracts.
