Waterloo 1815 (John Parsons, 2nd Batt. Grenad. Guards.) fitted with silver clip and ring suspension, edge bruising, contact marks and polished, otherwise fine £1200-1400

John Parsons was born at Twickenham, Middlesex, and enlisted for the Grenadier Guards at Newry on 14 December 1813, aged 20 years, a volunteer from the East Middlesex Militia. He served at Waterloo in Lieutenant-Colonel Cooke’s Company of the 2nd Battalion, and was discharged to pension on 21 June 1826, in consequence of diseased lungs. Sold with copied discharge papers.
