Waterloo 1815 (Miles Marley, 32nd Regiment Foot) fitted with steel clip and ring suspension, contact marks and edge bruising, otherwise good fine £1600-2000

Miles Marley was born in the Parish of Clogher, Co. Tyrone, and enlisted for the 32nd Foot at Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, on 17 March 1801, aged 22 years. At Waterloo he served in Captain Henry Ross Lewin’s Company. He was discharged at Corfu on 31 January 1819, in consequence of length of service and reduction in the regiment. Sold with copy discharge papers and roll extracts.

Also entitled to M.G.S. medal with four clasps for Roleia, Vimiera, Corunna, and Toulouse, which is known to have been with Baldwin’s in 1953.
