Military General Service 1793-1814, 2 clasps, Maida, Java (R. Ross, 78th Foot) medal sometime mounted within a frame causing edge bruising and naming to be faint in places; suspension re-attached, nearly very fine £800-1000

Robert Ross joined the 78th Regiment on 22 October 1804. In the ‘Maida’ campaign he served in Captain Locker’s Company; in the ‘Java’ expedition he served in Captain McLean’s Company.
