A Sabretache of a British Officer of the Egyptian Army c. 1880 - 1901 a very scarce example, the tan leather sabretache mounted with a five pointed plain brass star over a brass crescent complete with the bag and three suspension straps, very good condition £200-300
Note: The late W. Y. Carman in his History of British Yeomanry Sabretaches states that this may appertain to the Berkshire Yeomanry. However, the last pattern undress sabretache to the Berkshire Yeomanry was in black leather with an ornate mount.
