An original wartime R.C.A.F. pilot’s flying log book appertaining to Pilot Officer A. B. Polley, Royal Canadian Air Force, who was killed in a flying accident in June 1942, covering the period May 1941 to June 1942, the whole training flights in Canada, with his R.C.A.F. Individual Record of Flying Sheet; together with another original wartime R.C.A.F. pilot’s flying log book appertaining to K. 116633 J. B. Sullivan, Royal Canadian Air Force, covering the period December 1941 to May 1945, largely training flights and ending with appointments at the R.C.A.F. Stations at Tofino and Sea Island, Vancouver, B.C., in good condition (2) £80-100

Arthur Beverley Polley was killed in a flying accident on 11 June 1942, aged 29 years. The son of Beverley and Annie Polley of Calgary, he is buried in the Calgary (Burnsland) Cemetery, Canada.
