Frederick Harris, a Farmer from Palmerston North and a member of the Woodville Rifles, attested for the 6th New Zealand Contingent at Wellington on 2 January 1901, aged 22 years. Served in South Africa with the 6th New Zealand Mounted Rifles. Discharged in May 1902. With copied service papers.
