Four: Lieutenant R. Luckins, Army Air Corps and Parachute Regiment

France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals, these unnamed; General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, S.E. Asia 1945-46 (293073 Lt AAC) late issue; with Parachute Regiment cap badge, nearly extremely fine (5) £200-250

Robert Luckins was commissioned on 11 September 1943 and appointed a War Substantive Lieutenant on 11 March 1944. Transferred from the Royal Artillery to the Parachute Regiment in February 1945 (London Gazette 22 May 1945). Served in the A.A.C. in South East Asia 1945-46 and was posted to the Reserves in June 1947.
