Five: Civilian Liaison Officer C. R. Park, Ferret Force, who was killed in Malaya, 4 September 1951 - the son of Air Marshal Sir Keith Rodney Park, G.C.B., K.B.E., M.C., D.F.C.

Colin R. Park, son of Air Marshal Sir Keith Rodney Park, G.C.B., K.B.E., M.C., D.F.C. He was mentioned in the book, Re-Enter the S.A.S., by Hoe & Morris, ‘Colin Park was also a member as a ‘Civilian Liaison Officer’. He had parachuted into Malaya as a member of Force 136 during the latter stages of the war and had been badly injured on landing. A terrific guy - son of Air Vice Marshal Keith Park of Battle of Britain fame’. During the Malaya Emergency, Park helped train the Special Air Service in jungle warfare. Park was ambushed and killed on duty at Sungi Sipat Area, Perak on 4 September 1951, aged 26 years. He was buried in the Batu Gajah Christian Cemetery, Ipor, Perak.
