General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Palestine (1868202 Cpl., R.E.); 1939-45 Star; Burma Star; Defence and War Medals, these unnamed; Army L.S. & G.C., G.VI.R., 2nd issue, Regular Army (Capt., R.E.) good very fine (8) £100-140

Frank William Douglas Sinden was born on 9 February 1915. Having entered the ranks of the Royal Engineers before the war , he was commissioned a War Substantive Lieutenant in June 1942 and advanced to a Temporary Captain in July 1943 and War Substantive Captain in September 1945.

With two related Boxing Medals for 1929, both for ‘Gnat Weight’, both named to ‘F. Sinden’, one in case of issue. With some copied research.
