Pair: Driver A. A. Macully, 14th late 3rd Field Artillery Brigade, Australian Field Artillery, who died of wounds on 23 October 1918

Arnold Alexander Macully was born in Adelaide, South Australia. A Farm Hand by occupation, he attested for the A.I.F. at Adelaide on 4 August 1915, aged 21 years. He landed in Cairo in November 1915, then went on to England and France. Serving as a Gunner with the 14th Field Artillery Brigade, he was wounded in action on 23 October 1918 - being hit by shell shrapnel in the left thigh and side. He died later the same day and was buried in the Premont British Cemetery near Bohain. He was the son of Maria Julia Macully, of Dunluce, Brighton, Adelaide, South Australia and the late Alexander Macully.
