James Lile Phillips was born in Swansea, lived in Southall, Middlesex and enlisted at Ealing. Serving with the 8th Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 6 June 1918, aged 20 years. Having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial. He was the son of Mr J. L. and Mrs B. Phillips, of 5 Mount Pleasant, Southall.

William James was born in Fulham, Middlesex, lived in Hammersmith and enlisted at Putney. Serving in the 16th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 20 May 1917. Having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
