2nd Lieutenant Clifford Stead, R.G.A. entered France on 19 August 1917. Later advanced to Lieutenant. At the time he applied for his medals in 1921 he was living at Raglan House, South Ark Road, Harrogate, Yorkshire. With copied m.i.c.

Jules John Ferry was born of British parents in Chicago, U.S.A. on 1 June 1884. Employed as an Insurance Agent and living with his wife in Sudbury, Ontario, he attested for overseas service at Sudbury in May 1916. At the time of his attestation he was a member of the 97th Regiment and had served 3 years in the Queen’s Own Rifles. With copied officers’ declaration paper.
