George Hamilton Downer enlisted into the A.I.F. on 11 December 1914, having served three years with the part-time militia - 17th Light Horse Regiment. He embarked on 26 May 1915 with the 4th Light Horse Brigade Train, 14th Co. Australian A.S.C. and served in Gallipoli. Returned to Egypt in January 1916 and then entered France in March 1916. Appointed C.S.M. in October 1917 and R.S.M. (W.O. Class 1) in October 1918. With copied research.

Harry Goodman enlisted on 17 November 1914 and embarked on 10 April 1915. Served in Egypt and France variously with the 2nd Light Horse, 8th Machine Gun Company and the Army Medical Corps. Discharged as medically unfit on 19 July 1918. With copied research.

Herbert Cobb enlisted into the 3rd Light Horse at Melbourne on 18 June 1915 and then transferred to the Field Ambulance. Embarked on 26 November 1915 and served in France. Was wounded in action - gassed - 8 June 1918. Returning to Australia he was discharged on 15 December 1919. With some copied research.

Henry Walter Price enlisted on 2 September 1915 and embarked on 27 November 1915. Served in France but was returned home and discharged as medically unfit on 17 May 1917. With some copied research.
