Gordon John Bromley was born in Dover, Kent. He enlisted on 11 July 1915 at Warwick Court, N.S.W. Serving in France he was killed in action on 5 November 1916, having previously been listed as wounded and missing. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Villiers-Bretonneau Memorial. With copied service papers and letters relating to his death.
