Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (6819 Pte J. Curry, Rl. Irish Fus.) nearly extremely fine £100-140

John Curry was born in Belfast. A Labourer by occupation and a member of the 3rd Royal Irish Fusiliers (Militia), he attested for regular service in February 1900. Posted to the 1st Battalion he served in South Africa. He was accidentally slightly wounded by a gunshot near Springfontein, 13 October 1901. With copied service papers and report on the incident.
