Thomas Boyle Haines, who is verified as having participated in the Somaliland operations of 1902-04, including the action at Jidballi (Medal & 2 clasp), was commissioned in the R.E. in the Great War and served out in France and Flanders from December 1917 until the end of hostilities. He was subsequently awarded the Jubilee 1935 Medal as a Major (Q.M.), and the Coronation 1937 Medal as a Lieutenant-Colonel (Q.M.); sold with verification.
