Robert Fairlie was born in Glasgow and attested for the Royal Highlanders at Dundee on 17 November 1893. He served in India from February 1896 to February 1899, and in South Africa from October 1899 to October 1902. Sold with copied service papers and medal roll entries which also show entitlement to King’s South Africa medal with 2 clasps.
