Royal Irish Regiment (Modern Raising) Pouch, Pouch Belt and Caubeen, the pouch and belt of black patent plastic, the pouch bearing a plated eagle/8 badge, the pouch belt plate displays a QEC over shamrock sprays and enclosing the Maid and Harp, the sprays with tri-part scroll ‘Royal Irish Regiment’, the whistle guard of special pattern being a circle of shamrocks enclosing a larger shamrock, the whistle’s case decorated with bands of shamrocks, the caubeen of green cloth with stiffened head band bearing anodised cap badge showing the QEC over the Harp and Maid, official label inside states ‘Bonnet Mans Caubeen Royal Irish Reg. & Pipers’, complete with a small green feather hackle, very fine condition (3) £80-120
