Polish Military Head Dress WWII Period, comprising an officer’s peaked forage cap with khaki trencher cop and mid blue band, this with two star silver lace rank badges, black leather chin strap. bakelite/plastic peak with white metal trim, the trencher top with silver lace in cross over design and bearing a cap badge in die stamped silver plate featuring the eagle on a curved plinth, this stamped on reverse ‘SF anchor/B.M.’, the screw post fastener secured by a white alloy button bearing a fouled anchor, the hat lined in blue linen and with the maker’s label ‘J.Miron, Wilno’; a soft brown khaki head dress again with characteristic trencher top and bearing a sewn on white on khaki eagle badge, complete with let down chin strap and neck protector, the hat with a printed label and hand written details dated 13.7.1943 entitled ‘Czapko palowhem 1939’ printed details would indicate this is from a museum, slight moth damage to both items otherwise very good condition (3) £200-300
