Royal Observer Corps Insignia, a comprehensive collection including a very rare brassard in blue/white vertical stripes with red ‘Observer Corps’ (some moth damage), two officers gilt Observer Corps cap badges one on a black velvet oval padded ground, an all gilt KC cap ‘Forewarned Is Forearmed’, two further second pattern gilt cap badges figure and motto only but one mounted on a gold bullion and coloured thread laurel and crown ground, the other on an embroidered wool laurel and crown ground; two first pattern o/r w/m caps of varying size, a KC s/plated second pattern cap and an all gilt QEC example, KC caps in w/m and chrome, a QEC anodised example; a scarce lapel badge in gilt and enamels ‘Volunteer Air Observers’ Corps’ this with central eagle over ‘Observer’, the reverse numbered and with Air Stores notice.
