44th Indian Airborne Division, Hampshire, King’s (Liverpool) Regimental Insignia, three framed displays, the first shows a die stamped w/metal KC ‘India’ Parachute cap badge, two parachute embroidered brevets, one white on black (with pin back) the other white, pale blue on a faded khaki or grey ground. A pair of printed ‘Pegasus/India’ arm badges and a scarlet cloth car pennant embroidered both sides in pale blue with Pegasus over India (slight mothing on reverse side). The second frame shows a single printed Pegasus/India arm badge, a yellow on blue embroidered Chindit arm badge, an embroidered ‘Hampshire’ s/title yellow/black, two wyvern arm badges (one embroidered, one printed), a rectangular arm badge white on red cloth ‘Kings’, a lieutenant’s slip on epaulette s/title ‘Kings’, a medal ribbon bar and two proficiency arm badges. The third with metal cap badges, officers caps silver/gilt/enamels and o.s.d. both KC ‘Hampshire’, o/r caps to the 7th Bn the Hampshire Regiment, standard bi-m cap ‘Hampshire’, a King’s Liverpool o/r cap, Artists Rifles o/r caps g/m and w/m, a St. Paul’s OTC KC cap, a Parachute Regiment KC cap and a Hampshire s/title, very good condition (26) £400-600
