The Green Howards (Alexandra Princess of Wales’s Own Yorkshire Regiment) Insignia; Officer’s Tunic Buttons 1881 - 1922 of the Disbanded Irish Regiments, the first comprising mainly post 1902 issues officers and o/r caps, collars including one hall marked 1941 silver collar badge, another collar in gilt and silver plate, a pair of embroidered bullion collars (31 items); the Irish buttons comprise large examples 10 to the Royal Munster Fusiliers, 6 Leinster, 5 Royal Irish (KC), 9 Royal Dublin Fusiliers (KC), 3 Connaught Rangers (KC) plus 9 mixed small examples (varying condition); together with a two part w/m s/title ‘1/V/E.York’, a framed photograph of a Corporal in the 1st East York Rifle Volunteers, a very fine large size sweetheart’s brooch of the 51st Yorkshire Light Infantry in silver hollow back but not marked, good overall condition, (76 items in total) £250-350
