51st (King’s Own Light Infantry) & KOYLI Insignia, including an officer’s very scarce forage hat badge c. 1840 - 50 in die cast gilt brass being a coiled bugle horn enclosing ‘51’ the body of the bugle horn part decorated with small oak sprays (two loop fasteners), an o/r good quality 51st glengarry badge (KK 508), officers’ cap badges in gilt and silver, all silver plate and osd blackened brass and silver, an officer’s pair of cloak fasteners gilt roundels with central silver bugle horns, five post 1881 collar badges (King’s Own), two brass part s/title badges coiled bugle horns with ‘Yorkshire’ on the body, together with sundry other cap and collar badges and s/titles, good overall condition (71) £300-400
